Cadillac is America's second oldest car brand. Being started in 1902, its first car was produced as a 1903. In 1909 Cadillac was purchased by General Motors. 

In 1911 electric starters were invented for cars. In 1912, Cadillac became the first car with an electric starter. They also added electric headlights. This 1910 was considered obsolete by its owner and parked with less than 8500 miles on the odometer.
